Our Story
Natasha Nimalasiri, the founder of Eklego Consulting, brings over six years of specialized experience in the MedTech industry. With a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Southampton, a Master of Biotechnology from the University of Melbourne, and certification as a lead auditor for Information Security Management Systems, Natasha's expertise spans quality management, regulatory affairs and information security management. Managing a range of class I to class III sterile implantable devices, Natasha has contributed significantly to product development and global market entry for early-stage start-ups.
Her career includes pivotal roles in the regenerative biomaterial sector, where she led quality assurance for sterile hydrogels, manufacturing controls, design and development controls, risk management, sterilisation validation and clinical trial administration. Natasha transitioned into the digital health industry, building quality management systems and conducting regulatory submissions for software medical devices in the cognitive health sector and software-hardware integrated devices within the cardiovascular and metabolic health sectors.​
Recognized as a leader in her field, Natasha is a subject matter expert and mentor in industry programs organised by ANDHealth, CHICC and MedTech Actuator. Her exceptional skills and proven track record ensure Eklego Consulting delivers unparalleled service and support to its clients.
